Fresh fruit, vegetables, herbs and whatever the seasons provide.
Small-batch pantry products and seasonal produce, inspired by generations of gardeners, growers and Northland family history.
Delmist was the name created by Trudy's mother for her dog kennels in the 1930s. For Trudy, and for her sons Zane and Alun, it is a name bound up with family history and generations of growing.
Today, Trudy and her sons, Zane and Alun, are giving the Delmist name a new life from the Dargaville property they bought together.
The property's buildings are around 100 years old, surrounded by established gardens, a heritage orchard and grape vines. Beautiful old-fashioned varieties grow alongside newer plantings as the garden and orchard continue to evolve.
Trudy's mother was an avid gardener, and the family comes from a long line of farmers and gardeners with proud ties to Northland. With the buildings now around a century old and the Delmist name dating to the 1930s, both carry nearly a century of history into what comes next.
Grown and made by Trudy and her sons, Zane and Alun, in Dargaville, Northland.
